We are delighted to be led by God into a new phase in the development of our association: Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Stock succeeds Berthold Meier as Secretary General, who has become Director of the VEBS Academy.

On Friday, September 22, 2017, the ceremonial handover of office to Stock will be celebrated in a church service in Kassel. At the same time, Meier will be introduced to his new role.

Wolfgang Stock was previously Managing Director of Christburg Campus gGmbH, which runs Protestant daycare centers and schools for almost 1,000 children in Berlin. The former journalist, author and university lecturer belongs to the Independent Evangelical Church (SELK) and is a member of the Executive Board of the German Evangelical Alliance. He is married and has five grown-up children.

The Association of Protestant Denominational Schools (VEBS) was founded in 2006 as the successor organization to the Association of Protestant Denominational Schools (AEBS). It represents more than 130 schools and daycare centers at 70 locations in Germany. Professing Christian educators teach Christian values, support children and young people in the development of their personality according to the biblical view of man and help them to develop their resources, talents and gifts. The association supports the member schools from the foundation to job placement and further training for all levels of staff.
