He has overall responsibility for the school’s operations and the strategic development of the sponsoring association. Previously, he was a qualified tax consultant and head of the tax department of a large textile group. He is married and the couple have four children.
Wolfgang Stock will retire in summer 2026 after nine years as VEBS Secretary General.
The VEBS currently has 90 members with 211 educational institutions (52 daycare centers and 159 schools) at 132 locations with 40,000 pupils and daycare children and more than 6,000 employees.
